I will say Rapture has some nice piano patches. Note they are labeled micropiano and don't span a huge note range, but they've got some use from me.

I'm having serious problems opening Rapture in existing projects in Cubase 7 64bit. I just get an empty frame and an 'infinitely' repeating error dialogue. Need to use task manager to shut Cubase down. Opening in standalone mode and opening in a fresh project are no problem.

Z3ta+2 and Dimension Pro both work fine though.

I can confirm this. I'm having the same issue.

Otherwise this seems like a great synth at a great price!

I don't mind that it sounds digital. I don't get wet for analog the way some people do.

Update: I can load the 32-bit version using jBridge into Cubase 7 64-bit on existing projects, but not the 64-bit version of Rapture.

New projects are fine.

I could swear when I did the install instructions were 'if you're going to install 64 bit do not install 32 bit version.'

Just picked these up. I haven't really reached for Rapture much since I bought it last November. This kit has definitely breathed new life into it for me. I especially like the sfz templates...

I got this synth working on OSX lion 10.7 here.

Seriously I want to like Rapture but it's hard. I am going to probably buy it's big brother "Z3ta2" because I know that is one powerful product.

There are so many synthesizers out, it's hard to keep up with them all.

I bought Rapture last time it was on sale, and then I discovered it was the cause of my Reaper crashes. So it wasn't a good deal from that perspective. I'd say save your $20.

It's unusable for me in Reaper 64bit. Crashes every single time I use it. Sometimes I get a few minutes, other times it crashes as soon as I play a note. My setup is very stable with everything else. From now on, if there's no demo, I'm not even going to consider purchasing something (there isn't a demo is there? ). It wasn't much money, but there's only so many times I can can get away with telling my wife I just bought something else, but it was only $20.
