Hi Zircon,

I got the bass library, whenever I try to load it I get an error which says "The patch could not be loaded (unknown error)"

I checked the manual and it was mentioned that three folders should be there, patches, samples and UI. I don't have the UI folder for some reason just a an image file labeled Shreddage bass UI 2

I have 'Patches', 'Samples', 'Shreddage Bass UI 2.png' and 'Shreddage Bass - Picked Edition Manual.pdf'. It's working for me. Maybe you have a bad download?

Ok I tried it with Kontakt 5 player, it worked.

Works perfectly with Kontakt 4.2.4 here.

Tested with
- 32 and 64 bit Kontakt v4.2.4,
- 32 and 64 bit Reaper v4.13,
- 64 bit Studio One v2,
- Win7 Ultimate SP1 64 bit.

"The patch could not be loaded (unknown error)" is usually because the library was created with a newer version of Kontakt than the one it is being loaded into.

I originally purchased and downloaded Shreddage Bass when I had PT9. It loaded into Kontakt 4 with no problems. I have subsequently upgraded to PT10 but still have Kontakt 4. Now I am getting this error message.

Help please.

If your version of Kontakt didn't change, then contact NI support.

I downloaded Sforzando since I don't have the full version of Kontakt. I had copied and pasted the Sforzando Patches folder (which is said to be a backup in the included READ ME file) into my soundfonts folder so everytime I clicked I got the same message about not loading.
I instead loaded the patches in the Shreddage Bass Picked Edition folder (the ones that are not in a folder) and they loaded fine.

Hey Alan!

The sfz patches refer to the placement of the samples, as you discovered. If you need to move them, move the entire Shreddage Bass folder. This is the case with all .sfz files.
