A Proposal for Bundles (Buy more and get rewarded)

I've been both following and shopping around for your plug-ins for maybe a year now. So far I've collected none. Mainly cause theres never a "Good deal" and the psycological hurdle that a Market sale is priced like the intro price. I already read most of the posts regarding your standing on dicounts and different licenses. But one proposal that I've not seen might be good for all three parts (Developer, Existing Users, New Users). If one buys a bundle of your plugins at once I see no reason to why one could not benefit of the same discounted prices as the Intro prices/Dino Discount etc. At least for me I would be more eager to go all in feeling that I've made a "Good deal" instead of missing that "Deal".
Example:
Synth-Bundle
Zebra $199 - $50
DarkZebra $99
Diva $179 - $50
Ace $69 - $10
Tot 436
Saving 110
FX-Bundle
Uhbik $149
Filterscape $129
MFM2 $79
Not only does U-he get a hoop of funds for future development but early adopters should not feel cheated cause the user buying the Bundle might even have invested more to U-he after purchasing a Bundle.
I myself have hold of cause theres really no reason to stress a buy since theres no risk of missing a good deal. And Resells are too high so thats amlost not an option. Everyone except the ones whom wants to resell would want new fundings to U-He instead of licenses changing owners.
Pros:
More sales
No Loyalty Hurt
New Funds instead of ReSales

I think U-HE went into business with a well thought out and considered business plan.
They seem to be very well organised and open to suggestions of a technical nature.
I like a 'sale' as much as anyone and I appreciated the imaginative discount associated with Diva, it was a whole bunch of fun.
To suggest a company drastically change its business plan is a bit over the top. Rude even.
It's a bit like asking the bosses wife what colour undies she has on....

I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

Even at full price, given the high quality of U-He plugins and their fantastic customer/support service, their price is really fair.

Why do you use the term "drastically"? And why is it rude to ask for a bundle discount?werp wrote: To suggest a company drastically change its business plan is a bit over the top. Rude even.

more sales isn't always a win win.. with more users, potential for more user problems and more man hours required for tech support.

I think we offer fabulous freeware for those who can't make the entry hurdle.
I also think we offer a great value for existing customers: Next to never do we charge for updates and the resell value is constantly predictable. IMHO low entry hurdles are often followed by gradual milking schemes - not our cup of tea.
That said, we're doing exceptionally well, there's no pressure for us to frack the market.

I really am greatfull for U-Hes sucess. If you're really good at something that should be rewarded.
But to say that someone just found such a Great company in this jungle of software now you cannot get the intro price for Diva etc. Thats almost 25% off missed which could make or brake a buy for us that do not get ANY income on our musical hobby.
And every company have to get more fundings (more sales). Hence to say that support could eat up funds is hard for me to grasp. But that might be cause I do not expect support from Devs that can be found by searching the net yourself. I can't remember last time if ever that I needed support on bought software.
My intent was not to insult, just raise another POV on the matter. And maybe enligheten users that have fundings for their music soft purchases thats not the case for us all. But should that not give more ppl the opertunity to Great software? And help spread the word?

Maybe check the Marketplace often.. people sell all of the u-he software from time to time.. but it is sold VERY fast (couple minutes to a few hours).
And it wasn't rude to ask. It is a business.. it never hurts to ask for a lower price! (just expect to receive a 'no' response from time to time

Now when I think about it this whole thing might be seen as a request for a "Groupbuy" sort of. That was not my intention. I thought more in the way of buy more and get rewarded. Something that would be on the U-He site at all times. I know nothing about "Loyalty Points". To many companies seem to fool their Users with that stuff.
Uncreative posts like "Bosses wifes undies" and "That wont happen" to the thread will probably never give any good outcome.
