I bought Harmor 2 months ago, and Harmless a few weeks ago. I barely touch Harmor, but use Harmless in every project. Harmor is a beast, but for me it's just too unintuitive to start learning right now.VitaminD wrote:I don't own it.
But I do own Harmless from their pay what you want deal.. and it is fantastic to my ears. The demon girl is a bit creepy and off-putting in the about page though.
Too cheap right now to buy the bigger version, but if you like harmless you will surely enjoy the sounds that come out of it. Go give it a test run.

I guess that could be an issue too. Harmless is pretty lightweight and to-the-point.. makes for dialing in a sound pretty painfree.
More reason to give it a test run!

I own both and honestly, I don't see for what I would use harmless unless for it's many presets. Harmor is not so complex to use, so when I want to create something new I directly go to Harmor since it can do everything Harmless can do and more. Harmless is more easy to handle if you are new to synthesis I guess ^^

Harmor is suprisingly easy to use. You should read the manual to learn the function of certain knobs. But the templates and drag drop make this the easiest resynthesis plugin I know.

I also bought Harmless when it was released, it's my the most favorite IL synth and I use it in every project - (like Sytrus). Yesterday I tried to tweak some sounds from Harmor and it sounds great. In IL shop Harmor costs 149$ + VAT, in JRR shop only 59$ - it's insane! I often use BeepMap (oh yeaaah) in projects, images could be loaded also into Harmor. But - do I really need another VSTi, that's the question!VitaminD wrote:I don't own it.

I wanted to get it, especially now with the great price on JRR Shop's sale...but the demo version has a weird graphics issue on my PC.U-o wrote:Let's talk about IL Harmor...
You can see the screenshot I took a while back.

I wonder if the full version does the same thing, or if it is just a problem with the demo version?

Might want to double-check if it's gone or not, as I was looking up a couple items by using the search field yesterday, and it was saying it couldn't find them. They were available the day before that though.analoguesamples909 wrote:yeah Im interested in Cubase...I saw it advertised here in the other thread...Aiynzahev wrote:Uncle E, what's your deal for:

Then this morning when I tried the same thing, it worked.
Not sure about Cubase deal, but Samplemoog was there one day, then gone. Even if I searched for "samplemoog" it said it was unavailable or something like that. But now I see it again, so might buy it, or get Harmless.

I'd say "yes, if it's Harmor!" but of course it depends on your needs. It's not the best synth for preset lovers/tweakers (there aren't a huge amount) but if you like to design your own sounds it's absolute powerhouse.U-o wrote:But - do I really need another VSTi, that's the question!
I bought it in the initial sales promo and paid around £80 (about $130) and I thought it was a bargain at that price! The current price really is an absolute steal!
