It is amazing how rediculous, disrespectful, and immature the subsequent questions are on that page. That isn't how you talk to other people.. especially someone taking time out of their schedule to be there.

Those "questions" really aren't directed at Hans, it's reddit being reddit - I'm sure Mr Zimmer would have been prepped as to how reddit works and judging by the huge response it's been a very successful marketing tool for him.

I think he might have posted a few things randomly on Gearslutz, actually. GS seems like the place to see some big names occasionally drop in. Really like the series of extended forum sessions they do with some big names, insightful stuff.

I don't think Hans was actually part of the comments that appear on that page. Click on 'see more comments' at the top of his post, and there's a nice respectful (worshipful, actually) exchange that is documented before he had to catch a flight somewhere.

Me? I don't care for Mr. Zimmer's music. Never heard of Howard before. But I heard of the magic tea pot party. Who cares?

Zebra is right up there, in fact probably my No.1 synth I want to get and I will save up for and buy. Alchemy is a close second. The A-Z if you like .

But Alchemy, I already have so many sounds for. They kind of sold the farm type of thing. Then again, they can have the last laugh, coz they got about a hundred bucks out of me so far...
