I'm not sure they'll have a Summer yard sale this year, they just had a 50% off plugins sale to celebrate the launch of FL Studio 11 that only ended a couple of weeks ago: http://www.image-line.com/documents/new ... 11-out-nowVitaminD wrote:Any news on the IL Summer yard sale this year? Usually they did 40-50% off IIRC..

Yes it is. I just got the email from NI, for some reason in, I think, Chinese and in Yen. (9,800 yen if you're curious).paulbreeze wrote:Yeah...Reaktor for 99 USD / 99 EUR is a real bargain.

I've had emails from NI too, both in english and japanese/chinese
And while we're at it: I've had 2 emails as well from,ARTURIA on their offer on Analog Factory.
One was with a price of 19 USD and the other with a price of 19 EURO.
When trying to buy it the website will only allow me to pay in EURO
Asked the company on FB and on their forum, but no answer!
Costumer service ? French arrogance ? Take your pick !

19 EUR/USD depends on how much stuff you own from them. I've got one about 24 EUR but figured I rather skip it...

I have 3 of their otherwise very fine synths and that entitled me to this offer.
The difference between 1 USD and 1 EURO is about 30 % and I just think that if I got the offer in USD I should be entitled to it.

If an offer is made to you then why aren't you "entitled" to it ?
What would be the right expression according to you ?

During the "mad sale" last year those that bought Analog Laboratory got three free Arturia synths of their choice. Those guys are now getting to buy Analog Lab for $19...

We have a problem in this country (USA) with people (usually younger and/or lower income) thinking the world revolves around them.madsmac wrote:Maybe my english isn't as good as you think it should beVitaminD wrote:Entitled? To what is this world coming..

They think what are actually privileges are rights to them.. that is, they feel entitled.
I see people young and old on the road thinking they own it.. no sharing.. no state laws.. nope they own it. Because the world revolves around them.
So I had to laugh instead of cry when I saw someone claim they were entitled to a deal in one currency because the email they got mentioned it.. even though that is not their local currency.. or even secondary..
Just because you got an offer in USD doesn't mean you are entitled or even granted the ability to use it.
As example, I've gotten offers from women sharing (sometimes nude) photos of themselves when they accidentally got the email address incorrect.. it doesn't mean the offers were valid to me just because they accidentally sent them to me. They made a mistake.. well a couple of mistakes.. but the one here I'm pointing out is sending the entire request to someone other than their intended target.
You want a better deal, I understand (believe me, if anyone on kvr does, I REALLY understand

You've got to be a narcissistic megalomaniac to think I'm going to read all that.VitaminD wrote:We have a problem in this country (USA) with people (usually younger and/or lower income) thinking the world revolves around them.

You want a better deal, I understand (believe me, if anyone on kvr does, I REALLY understand), but in this case it looks to be a mistake made by NI if they sent you an offer exclusively in USD and you don't live in the USA.
