I'm new to Zebra but love the synth - am using it in Numerology, but whatever I do to Zebra is not saved with the session. Whatever I do to Zebra programming wise, or preset selection, is just not there - It keeps opening this one particualar patch. Any ideas?

Thanks

:)

Hmmm,

I'll forward this to Jim...

we had some issues recently regarding too many presets for a synth...

I'll keep you posted...

Great! Thanks. You know I'm trying to troubleshoot a vexing Stormdrum in Logic problem right now, dealing with being referred to lots of different people, different reports here and there blah blah - here I just post a question and the creator of the synth says he'll shoot an email to the creator of the sequencer! Wow. I think my new rule is going to be not to use any software that is made by a company with more than 3 people on staff. Except Live. I'll just pretend that they only have three people there.

OK, it does recall patches if you choose them from within Numerology - ie. within Numerology's GUI, not on the face of the Zebra GUI. But if you made any changes within Zebra, these are not saved - in other words no snapshot of the synths state is taken when the Num session is saved, instead, the patch which was last in Numerology's rackmount holder for Zebra is reinitialized.

Love the combo of the two, though, very excited...

:D

hehehe, I can confirm that Ableton are good people, but I'm afraid, they are more than 3...

Ok, that info helps... so Num doesn't see my parameter changes...

... that will definately get us on track...

Thanks,

If its helpful, Numerology is recalling Zoyd instances properly...

Just found that variance and morphology are switched in Num's parameter automation list for each osc - choose variance, automates morph, and vice versa....

Is this kind of stuff helpful or annoying?

Post

Just reread my post, a little confusing - What I meant by "this kind of stuff" was posting minor bugs within certain sequencers type of info here on this list, not the nature of the bug itself!

Just got response from Jim. He had already been pinged by NI on this, so he's already checking stuff out for Numer 1.4 (due to release soon).

Thanks for your input! All's gonna be good soon :D
