Why not pay for your ads instead of camuflating them as earnest advice?
We do. We also browse the forums to give earnest advice. Thanks for your interest.
Earnest advice from me would be to set your signature to clearly state you are IK Multimedia Sales representative.

It's really pathetic as you do it now. :(
His name is ObiK, and his signature is:

IK Multimedia
Musicians first.

How much clearer can it be? :o

Back to the OP's question:

In addition to the above suggestions, Slate Digital's FX-G is worth a look as well.

Sure, he's not the worst in that respect. However, many of us hide signatures, and the link between the user name ObIK and the product name T-Racks Custom could be clearer, to paraphrase you. He doesn't even mention that he's talking about an produkt from IK, so unless you already know about it, you won't be aware of it before you've clicked on the link. And making people click on links is the holy grail for internet marketers. To be clearer, he could for instance have written "our" instead of "the", which would add a lot of relevant information without him having to type a single letter more. Anyway, this guy is obviously paid to mention his employers' products in this forum. There must be dozens of companies, big and small, who make plug-ins that would be relevant in this thread. What if all of them were to leave oh-so-earnest advice about their plug-in? Then everyone would see clearly what this is - SPAM. This forum is supposed to be an exchange of knowledge, not a marketing channel. The marketing channel is found at the top and the right of the page, in the ad sections.

And his attitude becomes all to clear in his condescending-camouflaged-as-humble "Thanks for your interest." This is a forum, not a call center.

It does state that I am affiliated with IK. Not to mention I've been posting for 3ish years on these forum for them. Its common knowledge for a few years now. Thanks for your opinion on my posting techniques though, always good to have some pointers from other professionals.
No longer with IK. Here is my Website | Twitter | YouTube | Facebook | Instagram

Mush better than any IK mastering ;)

But might want to consider some near-field monitors before you start mastering .

Agreed.

Though personally I use whatever I can find on my HDD that gets the job done.

MAybe, maybe he's from the Theater with introduces tons of Dreams.

Whoever he is, he's definitely a wizard. KVR proved that a couple of years back. :hihi:

Voxengo Drumformer. For everything.

Sometimes, just Voxengo Voxformer, for some things.

Most the time, a bit of Voxengo, on something.

Just for the sake of it. It feels rude not to.

Sometimes, I'll just tack one on the end, and have it on bypass.

Voxengo. The Voodoo that you do, so well.
