Another vote for Ozone 5 Advanced. Still the best mastering limiter and most full featured EQ. (Also very much like the other modules but you can read my other posts on the topic by searching my history.). IMO the only products that compete are the FabFilter ones and it really is a toss-up based on the features you need more. I prefer the fact that every EQ node can have a different filter style and I have used the matching several times (although not for mastering).

On my last EP I actually had the mastering engineer send me tacks without limiting because I could do better with Ozone than he could with his tools.

I'm also a fan of Limiter No. 6; it combines several useful tools in one
container, all done well- of course, it helps to know what everything does
to get good results

Also in the realm of freeware-land, Baxter EQ + Density MkII (Variety of Sound)
make it difficult to blame the tools instead of the producer

I'm just giving a hint - as one of many users - how I look at it.

There are new users registered every day - and they are not familiar with how many years you have been here. I guess that is your strategy - marketing IK to these newcomers.

For one man show companies it's understandable. For larger companies it's just pathetic.

The same thing goes on at Cockos forum.

But your opinion and expertise in the wonderful and exiting world of music is always appreciated. But the pure markering - nah.

I wasn't even aware I had signatures hidden - and there are quite a few having that turned off it seems. Then we don't see your IK reference. That is another thing to think about.

My view is that any tool is valid, what counts is the skill of the technician. I use FabFilter Pro C but, again, any compressor will do the job properly. There are hundreds of free soft compressors that are fabulous.

Hey, just stop it. The comment was relevant and unobtrusive. IK Multimedia really makes good stuff for mastering. I could have suggested it myself.

As soon as you'll see irrelevant and obtrusive comments just notify the moderators. That's it.

IKM "do" make some great comps. I use Black76 and the White 2A quite often. It's safe for me to say it - I'm an independent reviewer and I just report as I find it . . .

TDR is a phenomenal free product, as is Density MKIII.

KVR says $50, but the sknote site itself says 279 EUR.
