hahah. Ok. I was just quoting the zebra 2 intro page. I.e. "...morph between those waves and send them through classic synth filters.". Hence the question :).

Isn't Zebra supposed to get some of Diva's filters? Then it should have some classic synth filters. :)

Ah, ok... let's see, Zebra has ladder filters, state variable filters, sallen-key filters and classic digital models (biquad filters). They're just all not modelled after specific gear.

Ok cool. Thank you.

I think this is the best comment in this thread.

Really, Zebra filters are good enough to not trying to replicate some hardware filters. When I bought The Dark Zebra, I thought that I never ever will use usual Zebra filters and will use only Diva's. But now I use XMF filters much often than DIVA's, they are fast, versatile and have a good character because of tiny, but good set of Drive curves. XMF HPF followed by drived XMF LPF with fold curve can create really tasty bass out of thin oscillators.
And XMF's FM really useful thing, you even don't need to design a special modulation sound for that - use the same as filtered, tweak FilterFM a little and you can add a modern distortion-like bright character to deep and warm sounds.
