suggestion for a sound placement vst

Hi
I'm using more and more MMultiAnalyzer and the fantastic "one gui for all instances " feature.
could it be possible to imagine a sound placement vst with this feature ? for exemple one plugin on each track and a main plugin on the master . it could be fantastic to virtually move the sound from each track ( with pan and volume, maybe directions ?)
I suppose it could be hard to do .
I'm actually trying this one http://www.parallax-audio.com/.
it works perfectly for orchestral music, and I really like this idea.
thanks for reading my poor english,
Damien

I hope this is still in planning/coding and hasn't been forgotten about.
I'd love to see your take on this as I'm more of a combined visual and hearing person when it comes to mixing

Hasn't started yet quite frankly, but it's still in mind
. It's gonna be a huge project, that should change the whole perspective, so it must be perfect
, and that takes time...

Good to know you still have it on "the burner".
I've tried a couple of other sound placement VST's and frankly they don't seem to cut it, especially when you try to move a "placed sound" - lots of stuttering or zipper noise evident.
Looking forward to your take on the process (just make it happen already

I would hope that it would be different to MReverb.
My hope would be that "MMix" (My name for it
) would allow several tracks/channels to be placed in their own visualised space all from one GUI.
Have a look at this you tube video for an idea of what I hope can be done:

Not that I want to promote non-Melda products here, but would this be the type of plugin we are talking about?

I know nothing about programming, but if Melda can already show several frequency curves in a single GUI for all channels that share a plugin, it might not be so hard to do something similar with MReverb.Dunc wrote:I would hope that it would be different to MReverb.

Would that be enough, or is more sound processing also necessary for the stereo placement you are thinking about?

Well, all I can say is that in my weird mind there is something much bigger, which should hopefully change the way we mix today
. But no details, after all it's still just crystallizing in my head
. Actually I'm now in a complicated position, because I'm kind of hesitating to mix my own projects without, yet I know it will take quite some more time, before we get into developing this thing

Any opinion on the Flux plugin CONCEPT?
Spat - well, not really my cup of tea. Basically MReverb with more complicated interface to me. I tried and didn't really know how to use it to get something useful. It would probably need more time to learn, which I'd rather spend on developing something better
