I have many compressors from waves to t-racks 3 to Fab Filter to Native instruments and while they are all great, to my ears, the Elysia Alpha Compressor was the stand out. It just blew me away.It has that smooth finished sound straight out the box. I got for $98 a couple of weeks ago on a big sale at Brainworks. Maybe it' still going.

..since thread is bumped.Loki Fuego wrote:Hey, just stop it. The comment was relevant and unobtrusive. IK Multimedia really makes good stuff for mastering. - Hi, IK also has products like that.
Well, that is your call.
As soon as you'll see irrelevant and obtrusive comments just notify the moderators. That's it.
Just friendly advice how it might be perceived by forum browsers - like me, maybe somebody else.
It's really diminishing IK vendor status going about like that.
And that's what I wrote - nothing more to it, really.
Example
if Avid personel is posting on every thread "Which daw is better"?
- We've got PT 11 out now, it's the industry standard - really good.
Who would feel this is a professional approach to marketing and raise the vendor status of Avid?
I think it would diminish my view of Avid as a company.
Example
If Microsoft personel would post in every thread "Windows or Mac" saying:
- Windows 8 is out now, and it's really good.
Would that make Microsoft status be raised or lowered.
Either way - I speak my mind on forums - and everybody speak their own mind. That is what forums are about.

although it is possibly to master audio with 'standard' daw's plugs,
nobody does it, really
seriously, if you want to compress track with ratio 1.2:1, parallel
there are few compressors on market who does it very well (psp mastercomp comes to my mind as first)
EQ - they sound different, although if your mix sound flawless, you shouldn't get nice sounding master after all
