I use the the VST version of Thesys a lot. So I downloaded Thesys for the iPad. It was a pain to enter in some notes and modulation. I wanted to remove a chord, but I could find out how. The manual say: rightclick... But I've got no mouse on my iPad. It seems to be a joke. An expensive one that is. I really hope Sugar Bytes will improve the interface and make it iPad worthy.

Ah, I need to press the CMD key. Not really intuitive. When I enter a note, I have my finger on it so I can't see the note. Why not implement a popup keyboard for this. Or that I can move my finger to the right/left while adjusting... More to the left/right the input will be more accurate (like propellerhead's Thor)

Sugar Bytes:
A few suggestions...
1. Add a sensitivity slider that adjusts how fast you need to tap for the zoom to kick in. As it is now it is constantly zooming in and out whether I want it to or not. And, unlike Turnado, disabling the zoom in Thesys isn't an option since everything is just so tiny and far from touch screen friendly.
Edit: Another suggestion I picked up from another user would be to disable double tap on all control surfaces so the app only zooms in when you double tap on an empty area somewhere next to a control/input area.
2. A popup next to your finger showing you the values you're changing (notes, mod, vol, cc, and so on) would make things easier since you can't see what's going on under your finger, right. Or a small window/bar at the top that shows the values your changing.
3. A toggle button options setting for the PC keyboard buttons you left in there. Holding down a button and changing values elsewhere on the screen while holding the whole thing in your hands isn't exactly intuitive.
4. Another suggestion I picked up from another user, multi level UNDO button. On the iPad it is soo easy to hit the wrong area and mess up all those note entry you just spent 5 minutes trying to get right.
Anyway just a few suggestions for the interface that are IMO must-haves. Other then that this is definitely a great app, and certainly the most powerful stepsequencer on the AppStore.
Edit: Oh and I think there's a bug with the synth saving preset. There's the save preset option in the preset menu, but it doesn't actually save anything (there's no user sub menu).
