Modulating VST parameter from Thesys?

Hi!

I know this question was "answered" already, but that answer assumed that you know how to map CC to a VST parameter in Ableton Live, which apparently I do not know how to do.

Specifically, I want to use one of the control channels (e.g. CTRL 21, CTRL 22 etc.) in the modulation section of Thesys to control a specific parameter of a VST, in Ableton Live.

I have already dragged the knob from the VST to the VST parameter section of the instrument to enable automation of that parameter, I just can't figure out how to route a control channel from Thesys to that specific parameter.

I have already routed Thesys output to the VST MIDI track, and I get all 3 top sections of Thesys to work fine. It's just the modulation track I am having problems with.

Any help is much appreciated! Thesys is amazing, I just want to get the most out of it.

Been wondering the same thing. When I assign mod wheel to a parameter using map it works fine. If I send the mod wheel data from thesys it doesn't respond. Could be something in live, I see the controller data coming in but the knob doesn't "lock" to it. Even tried routing thesys's output in and out of ableton with IAC bus, no luck so far.

Okay IAC bus IS the way to go. I set up as in this movie, execpt replaced his midi clip channel with the thesys!
