I'm having trouble with my receptor VIP it's brand new and I can't get any sound from the rear outputs L&R.
I am connecting to my mixer I have tried various trouble shooting steps changing cables & channels etc but cannot
get anything? The front headphone out is producing sound and yes I have turned the vol to max ;)

Any help would be appreciated

I assume you've filed a support ticket already.

What is between your Receptor's audio outputs and your ears? Mixer? Straight to monitors?

It is possible that the rear panel jack connection cable has come disconnected from inside the unit.

The VIP has two separate, stereo outputs on the audio card. One feeds the headphone jack, the other feeds the rear outputs. They are interchangeable, so in a pinch if the headphone jacks are working you could make the output jacks work by simply swapping the connections on the sound card, but before you do that its my guess that the connection to the sound card has come loose.

Hopefully you didn't accidentally connect the outputs to an input that had phantom power on, or to the output of an amplifier (instead of the input). Such connections can fry the output driver IC, which would require returning the unit to the factory for repair.
