This may be dirty talk around here, but I've been putting together a recording on MuTools that is pretty complete and ready to go to mixdown. We've done all the tracking (combination of Midi plus live audio)on MuTools and have selected someone to do the mixdown. We really want to put another set of ears on the final mix. However, he only works in ProTools. Is there a good, or simple way to do this? Has anyone had this experience before and worked through it?

Would it be acceptable to mix down each track to separate high quality wav files and pass those on?

Cfr pljones: What about exporting all tracks as audio (and MIDI) files?
That's also the only option i see. You can choose how 'dry' or 'wet' you export those tracks. If exported dry you'll have to redo the mix on protools of course. But then you have more options to do the mix. You could choose to export certain tracks more dry others more wet. I don't see an easy and straightforward solution, but i'm afraid that's always the case when you want to migrate a project from one DAW to another as there is no such thing as a standard DAW project file format.
