...no support, but deleting posts, trying to find a good alternative with ongoing development. You just leave us with a beta... Where is the answer on my question about a bug from a couple of month ago. Shame on you!

lennard is great if you email about specific issues; installation, problems with the beta, etc. but...Trancestorm wrote:so far i know - he always helped and the VST is stable as a rock on Windows and OSX. so why being so rude?
you can't use the beta in logic/osx. so, soundsets designed for the beta (there are now a lot of them) won't work.
that's a drag... and...there's no 64bit AU for mac. if logic (in my case) moves completely to a 64bit environment...
no more sylenth1 (right now, it works thru a 32bit bridge; not entirely stable, but workable.
whatever else is true, it would seem to be professional courtesy to address his user base here...some indication of whether or not there will be ANY updates, any new version...anything.
so it goes...

The complete lack of communication and support for bringing this plugin up to todays standards is the reason I'm looking for an alternative, I'm not going to waste my money on a dead plugin with no ongoing support. Sorry.

i really love S1, but my frustration also has to do with the enormous library of soundsets i've purchased. if i lose the synth, i lose the library. ugh.
am playing with Spire, a potential replacement...but still keep hoping we see SOMETHING new...

ive played with Spire aswell, but it has a big cpu usage compared to Sylenth1.fisherKing wrote:i really love S1, but my frustration also has to do with the enormous library of soundsets i've purchased. if i lose the synth, i lose the library. ugh.

i do hope they will implement a feature like z3ta+ had back in time.
hmm i really dont hope Sylenth1 isnt dead - ive bought it in january 2011 finally from my hard earned student money. so i would lose these money until forever. so please keep working and update this synth - its still one of the most important ones on both plattforms.
