Hello!

I'm having some problems with getting my Pad/lead sound to rise up.
It only goes like halfway and then it slowly goes down again (even though i automate the gain to the top).

I'm wondering if there is any way i can get my leads/pads to pitch up very high without slowing down in the end.

And it has to be controlled by a knob, like "Gain".

Sorry for the noobish question, but i would be very happy if anyone got any idea of how to do this.

thanks!

Increase in pitch over time is called a "riser" while a decrease in pitch is called "downer" (typically). This will help in your search for help in the future.

What you need to do is tie some pitch control to an envelope or automation. Without getting into too much detail, because there are so many better tutorials on the web (just youtube "sylenth riser"), in Sylenth, MOD ENV 1 or 2 click the green box and select one of the Pitch A/B controls, then increase/decrease the knob next to the same window. Adjust the envelope controls to your liking.

That's pretty much it. There are more fancy ways to get away with the same thing. Again, do some searching for videos because there are many many good ones already out there.

Hope this helps!
