It's legit. No joke! I wrote him and he answered back like 24 hours later.soundpalace wrote:Forgive me for asking, but are you pulling our leg? hehe He doesn't tend to ever respond to questions about an AU 64-bit version. I emailed him ages ago about it and was ignored.grandgazou wrote:TheoM wrote:Wasteland1 wrote:Hopefully the new logic update, forces Lennar to go with 64bit
you really think there is ANY chance of that?
Oh yes, I think there is. I just got this reply from Lennard:
"Hi,
We are working on a 64bit version of Sylenth1.
Best regards,
Lennard"

curious to see where all these years of development between releases has taken this wonderful synth..
realistically though, its sad that something like this finally had to force Lennard's hand

From what i was told, his reason for not releasing the 64bit osx version & ONLY the windows version, was the fact they lost the code for the mac version... and had to re-write it. I wonder how that happened.. but we all know that things can NEVER be re-created to it's exact version.. so i think we will see changes. Hopefully for the better, but we all know.. Sylenth1 will go down as a historic software synth module.giakys wrote:I do not think that it is so difficult to get to a 64-bit version for macintosh,
may just be a matter of weeks.

Lennard has confirmed the lost code rumour to be false.Djjvelez wrote:From what i was told, his reason for not releasing the 64bit osx version & ONLY the windows version, was the fact they lost the code for the mac version... and had to re-write it. Yep, all right but Cubase 7 and Vienna Ensemble Pro do support Sylenth on 64 bit OSX hosts.quickmix wrote:IMPORTANT: Before purchasing Sylenth1, please make sure that you have read and understood the system requirements:

For the kind of DSP programmer Lennard is, an OSX version would not take long...I do not accept the "it takes a long time" to code OSX theory. Lennard must have other reasons for not coding the OSX version. If the above post is real then that truly is good news.giakys wrote:I do not think that it is so difficult to get to a 64-bit version for macintosh,
