Can you please add knobs instead of menus in apeggiator settings?
This will really add to a fast improv flow working on riffs.
Also when I improvise with settings there, it does not react to change unless i remove my hand from the keyboard, and play again, between changing settings.
Can you please change these things so that it works?

I think that wish has already been granted. Right click on a target and you can set modulation source 1. Right click again, and you can change it, or add a second one. You can add three sources, I think.[/quote]sagetone wrote:1. Allow more than one mod source for any given target.

Thank you FLWrd!! Yes, this works beautifully!FLWrd wrote:Right click on a target and you can set modulation source 1. Right click again, and you can change it, or add a second one. You can add three sources, I think.

The max number of mod sources is 4 right now, but I havent updated the editor so it can only display the first 3.sagetone wrote:Thank you FLWrd!! Also, when a modulation source is selected from mod matrix display I think it'd be really nice to show visually (knobs changing colors) which parameters are modulated by it.

That would be very helpful!kv331 wrote:Also, when a modulation source is selected from mod matrix display I think it'd be really nice to show visually (knobs changing colors) which parameters are modulated by it.

I have a couple feature requests related to LFOs, coming from an Omnisphere user.
I would like to see a more general freeform LFO than the current multi-stage, step and glide modes. In Omnisphere each segment between points can be one of multiple types (curve, linear, step, spike, etc.), and for curved types can then be dragged to edit the curve. It's also not a fixed number of points, you can always right-click on a segment and add a new point in the middle (or delete one) if you want.
I find this a lot more intuitive since I don't have to figure out how many points I need beforehand (or set it to the max and then reduce it when I figure out how many of those I actually need). This also means you don't actually need multi-stage, step and glide, since you could do all 3 functions in the same mode if each segment can be set to a specific type (and as long as you can snap on the X axis then you can easily create the same-width segments that step and glide give you if you want them).
Along with this, I think it would be quite nice if you could expand/open in a new window/somehow zoom in on those sorts of editable LFOs. The current size works fine for up to about 16 steps, but something like a 32 step glide LFO isn't the easiest to work with. And if it becomes more of a single unified LFO then a larger editor for more precise work would be greatly appreciated.
And one other, small thing for the current editor. For multi-stage it would be nice if we could manually zoom in and out, since right now trying to edit the last point can be rather jumpy as it dynamically zooms.
Thanks!

I have read thru all the pages, and I noticed this users post.
This is something I have actually tried to do aswell, and it's not working for me.
Any news on if this will be possible to do in v2.7?
Love the synth by the way!

Hello,
I'm quite new to Synthmaster so maybe my suggestion will just be stupid (or maybe I have to RTFM ?
)
I would like to have global envelopes, to control filters of different layers at the same time. Or to be able to let more than 2 oscs go thru the same filter (and then only need one envelope).
Thanks ! ^^

If you use an additive osc that is actually equal to 8 basic oscillators!

Also you can control the two oscillators by the same envelope.

Thank you, I forgot about the additivekv331 wrote:If you use an additive osc that is actually equal to 8 basic oscillators!
I'm not sure I understand this part.kv331 wrote:Also you can control the two oscillators by the same envelope.
Anyway thanks for trying to help ! I should definitely read the manual but I get used to make things work without usually ^^
What I'm trying to do (as a starting point) :
I want to set osc 1 to Saw 8 voices detuned freerun panned left
osc 2 to Saw 8 voices detuned freerun panned right
osc 3 to Saw 4 voices +1 oct detuned freerun panned left
osc 4 to Saw 4 voices +1 oct detuned freerun panned right
and then I want to filter the result with one filter and one envelope. For now what I'm doing is that I copy the settings of filter from layer 1 to layer 2, and copy the envelope setting from layer 1 to layer 2. But Everytime I change a little parameter I have to go to the other layer and change it too. I'm sure if there is an easier way but I hope so ^^
Thanks already for any further help

Set the filter cutoff on both layers to the same easy knob at 100%. Now the easy knob with control both filters at the same time.
You can also modulate multiple parameter with the same source. You can control both cutoffs with 1 envelope. Same goes with lfo and the other modulation types.

I can set both cutoffs on one easy knob (tried before). But I can't modulate the easy knob, SynthMaster tells me that A global parameter can not be modulated with a voice modulator. I only have acced to audio input envelope, LFOs 1-4 and Constant in the synth global modulators.
I will go read the manual now

Several SynthMaster owners (including myself) have expressed a desire for an updated GUI down the road. I love SynthMaster, but the GUI just isn't very inspiring.
Examples of excellent GUIs are (IMO):
- Zebra
- Twin2
- Spire
