I realize it has been said many times before but I want to shout out a BIG thank you! To the whole U-he team!
I own 3 U-he synths; Zebra, Diva and ACE. It offers me such a world of sound at such a low price. I am thinking it's all the synth I'm ever going to need for a looong time.
Zebra definitly get's used the most and then Diva. I bought ACE too because I think it sounds good too, but as it looks now I will prob never get around to learning it because I'm just scratching the surface with Zebra! Bit off more then I could chew buying ACE ..lol
I'm just getting more serious into designing my own special patches. Howard.. Big big respect shout out to you! Such a great soundesigner. Very inspirational.
Great support, good open communication to customers, great inspiring products.
Thanks U-he!

I mostly agree with you. (My primary synth these days is ACE
) But there is another aspect of U-HE that doesn't get nearly enough attention:
The Uhbiks are amazing!!!!
IMHO, it's the perfect bundle for someone looking for 'creative' effects. Uhbik-A has actually replaced almost every reverb i use these days.

I agree 100% this team is outstanding! They Have been Very helpful every time I've reached out. Couldn't have better things to say about them. I'll buy your products not just because they're simply amazing, but because they care for their customers.

A vid of Nicky Romero in his studio was posted in the sound design forum a few months ago. ACE was used as the lead in his track with Avicii that's all over the radio.benburling wrote:amen brother im just waiting for some commercial successful dance musician to acknowledge u-he - then things (from that side of the world) will explode - feels like a more specialist secret for the moment.
I hate that song, but it was a pleasant surprise seeing ACE get used on a commercial EDM track.

ACE still has one of the greatest software filters in my mind. You can get so many different tones out of it, just bringing in more gain can give the resonance a kind of FM sound.

There was a Pyramind seminar with Jaytech, also broadcast on the web, where he was praising and using ACE in a project and also Cytomic's The Glue. They are excellent sounding plug-ins and deserve all the attention they get.
You might be able to find the videos on Youtube.

Sadly I got out of touch with the music world the last few months but I'm still the biggest U-He fanboi ever
I'm hoping to be able to be more active again now to give something back to great community.
U-He products always seem to be designed with the user in mind (which sadly doesn't seem to be as common as it should be).
They never really get in the way of my ideas, if I don't get a sound I want, I know it's my fault.
It's like a well balanced video game. I don't know how many times I died in the video game "Dark Souls", but I always knew it was my fault. In some other games I sometimes die because I'm stuck somewhere, or because it doesn't understand what I want and so on.
Exactly the same with U-He products, if I want to do something, I can be sure it will work. If I want to increase a filter freq with an envelope by exactly one octave, I simply choose a modulation range of +12 for example.
Maybe a stupid example, but other synths make stuff like that very difficult.
There are many, many more small things like that which always make U-He products real workhorses.
Also other things like great support, a friendly team and the great community are important. U-He seems to attract verdy "nerdy" people (that's a good thing by the way)
We sometimes discussed very nerdy stuff here in the U-He forum, I've never seen such discussions in another forum.
Of course the great sound is another important factor
I'm trying not to post about U-He products in every "What's the best X to do Y" threads anymore though, since I can see how that can become annoying, but it has always been my honest opinion.
Cheers
Dennis

(magazines always ask us "what famous customers do you have?" and we say "we can't tell you without violating our terms", since we have no artist endorsement programme and all those artists have paid licenses. Hence, any public appearance of such a video is great - we can refer to it without infringing customer privacy)
