Can you multi-sample a mellotron?

don't they only have one tape-loop per key anyway?

Good question, but you already solved it. Since you have one tape-loop per key, it is multi-sampled. When we say multi-sampled means multi - several - samples - sounds. Therefore, yes, the Mellotron is Multi-Sampled.

Just don't expect every tape-loop to be included on the set.

My narrow mind assumes 'velocity splits' whenever I read 'multi-sampled', but you are correct, keysplits work too

Its ok, I get confused all the time too.

I will also put a list of all FK1,2,3 samples so people know which ones are Ms or not. Some I will edit again and may release an update for some sets with new Ms options. I keep you guys posted here...

Here is the list of samples for FK1,2,3 - a lot of sounds are raw-waveforms, so they are not and don't require to be multi-sampled.

William, I downloaded the set when you emailed offering to test 4-5 days ago but I've beenn that busy I haven't even been able to put them onto my music pc yet.

As you released properly today I thought I'd download again so it had all the presets in but I can only see files 9-20. Is this right?

File 9 is 1012kb and file 20 is 918kb, the rest are 3.81mb. There were more files the other day.
