I cann't see the video right now, but try playing with formant filter. Modify it with envelopes...

It does not seems that easy to setup 3 band pass filters with the desired cutoff. I find it difficult to set exactly 600hz, if you see what I mean, and the cutoff scales against the current key right?

I also tried the presets "I am Zebra", and maybe a spectral approach could be easier what do you think?
