After sitting on my hard drive as a wasted purchase since it launched because my soundcard (Prism Orpheus) couldn't be set to a multiple of 16, I was excited to see the issue had been fixed. However, then the new version instantly crashed Cubase for me. So, as instructed, I did a full re-install of Cubase & Synthmaster.

I then fired it up, only to get the same error message (Version 2.6 I think) regarding my soundcard. Just to experiment, I set my buffer settings on my soundcard to a multiple of 16, whereby it then adjusted it as close as possible. This seemed to work! So I spent a few hours making my first ever track in Synthmaster.

I have just gone back into the project to find that, in place of all my sounds, there is a loud buzzing sound. Changing the buffer settings again got rid of the buzzing, however now Synthmaster won't play any sound. So now I have lost a few more hours to Synthmaster.

I have no uninstalled for good. If anyone wants a second hand copy of Synthmaster pls PM me :)

and another thing - it tells me to set the buffer size of the current preset to 'medium' - I can't find any mention of the word 'medium' anywhere in the synth. The buffer settings refer to 'small', 'normal', 'large' etc - no 'medium'

Excuse me BUT SynthMaster 2.6.x does NOT give that error message anymore.
I have tested EXTENSIVELY with different buffer sizes before releasing it back in February.

Are you sure you have 2.6.x installed? Did you check the version number ?

and are you sure SynthMaster is installed under Cubase's VstPlugIns path???
