Hi,
Just 2 little questions.

Is it possible in the Drumset editor to lock (protection) the setting when for exemple we drag and drop some sample into the editor.
For exemple, I make some Envelope setting on a kick but when i want to try with different kick sample by draging them it reset my setting.
Of course i can use the inside browser for that purpose to keep the setting, but sometimes it's easier by draging them.

The seconde question sorry , can we midi key select the drum list.
My english is not that good so for exemple if i work in the drum editor on the Kick (piano key C1) and then i want to go to the Snare (piano key D1), is there a way to show the snare by simply play on piano (key D1)

All the best to MeldaProduction, thx

Hi,

1) You should be able to drag & drop it into the file list, not the editor itself. That way it should probably just change the paths. I'm not sure right now though.

2) Uuu, I don't really understand here. This should work of course, just use MIDI channel 10, that's all. Then it depends on your host of course.

Thx very much for your reply,:)
I haved try to drag the sample to the file list browser path but unfortunately the envelope configuration is resetting to. And if i try to drag the sample to the "drum list" no sample are imported.

Concerning the automatic "midi show" drum edition.
I can play and ear drum in the list with no problem with my midi keyboard, iam on channel 10 (tried other channel in case) but no matter what i play (kick, snare, tom...) with my midi piano, it show on what i haved selected with my mouse in the Drumset editor "drum list".
I can only choose to show my drum for editing purpose by selecting them in the "drum list" with the mouse.

Iam on Mac 10.8.2 with Cubase 7.0.5 (32 bit)

Thx

1) Aaaah, ok, I'll check it out and it will be possibly implemented.

2) You mean select the drum in drumset editor when you play it? No, rather not, that could even be dangerous (little hard to explain though).

1) That would be cool :D

2) Yes the option to do it, but no worry, i was just wondering if i were missing something in the manual. Now you clarify it :tu: , so i can concentrate on having fun with your tools.

A big thx again for your fast support !!!!
