Anyone else find Tuning for example Osc 1 down an octave from Osc 2 in a layer is somewhat imprecise using the Pitch Knob ? Sometimes the read out above actually shows -1 oct and -1 Semitone and sometimes it seems almost impossible to dial in just minus one octave........

Yep.

Do you know that info bar at the top of SynthMaster somewhere that tells you what you are dialing?

Well I use that, but sometimes I just control click it back to starting position and use the mouse wheel as that does precise steps that will get me to the next octave.

Hold down the shift key when you tune knobs for precise control.

Mouse Wheel sometimes does not work with SynthMaster in Orion. It's not just about fine adjustment it's that SM actually shows the wrong readout on it's toolbar readout (for example shows -1 Oct and -1 Semitone when actually it's only tuned one octave). And I've got it right now where the display shows 1 Octave exactly and it's out of tune by a semitone. SynthMaster has never played well with Orion...

Shift is handy, and it would be cool if it was made so if you held down the Control key (or some other key like that) and then moved it, then it would make it move up or down evenly by an octave at a time.

Typically shift is to reach more inbetween values, not the more standard values such as semi-tones or octaves.

This way it's very quick to make standard adjustments and you can also easily fine tune,

I think a better solution would be manual entry of values, i.e. type a value in for any knob or setting.

Actually I take that back, as Ctrl-click resets it, but maybe some other key could be used to set that by octave.

No key that I am aware of. Just mouse wheel.

But really it doesn't make sense that it's like this. Why do you have a fine knob?

The one knob is meant to be course, semitones, and the other for finer values.

Basically the way it is now you have one knob that seems to cover all values.
