That's exactly the point - they want to avoid sales outside the US. In the EU, the market is far less aggressive when it comes to prices for plugins etc. Even if we leave the VAT out of the equation, prices here never reach those low levels in retail stores. Ever seen a real "no-brainer" from Thomann or musicstore.de? Nope. And the developers (some at least) want to keep it that way, because we Europeans are used to pay higher prices. So they come up with this stupid "code-in-a-box" solution, which by the way is not only a hassle for any buyer (waiting time) but also utter rubbish ecologically (transport, packaging).Omkar wrote: Maybe not so pointless when one think about

Somewhat relieving, paterpeter, to see my suspicion confirmed.paterpeter wrote:That's exactly the point ...
However, I don't want to go mad about it any further,
when devs decide to waste ecological resources in a pretty greedy manner,
it does not mean I have to waste my energy with bad moods about it.
So, anyone from US facing this kind of nonsense and like to support us,
please msg me and I will try to arrange something for others as well.

Synthmaker isn't a bad thing per se, but maybe it's better to save up a little to get sure quality wavetable synths like disco-dsp's Corona

Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

I don't know of any online music store IN EUROPE which has real sales (or even "no-brainers") like AudioDeluxe or JRR Shop...it's really sad...paterpeter wrote:That's exactly the point - they want to avoid sales outside the US.
