I added an explanatory line to the rules about this:
- Give ALL entries a score from 5 to 1 (where 5 is best). The scale can be used freely (several songs can have 5 etc). Max 1 point to your own entry.
Does it explain it, or should it be worded another way?

Saying this is confusing, because we actually vote for all the tracks, not just the top 5.V'ger wrote:
Time to vote for your top 5 tracks.
Also I noticed on the vote form, my entry shows up under "organic io"... Might be confusing to voters since I released it under group name "Dash by Choice" since it's not just pure organic io, I worked on it with a friend. It also shows as "Dash by choice" in the soundcloud player on the main page for round 54. Do you mind changing this or is there some reason it has to be under my regular name?

Just so you know in the future this is a rule:
"File name format: Artist - Tune Title where artist name is the same as KVR nick."
So you could do "Organic io feat. Dash by Choice - XYZ SONG NAME HERE"
Hope that clears it up. So in this case you'd want to change your soundcloud title name

Oh. Thanks for the info. Sorry, I didn't realize that. Makes it kind of harder for groups to enter, but I guess you can workaround.bjporter wrote: Just so you know in the future this is a rule:

Voted!
Definitely some great tunes! I didn't give any 1's or 2's, except for "Rob West - Sticks" because it was just an unfinished demo, and also that organic io dude, I dunno about him...

If your Soundcloud artist name is different from your KVR's, just comply with the OSC rules until the voting is closed, then you can modify the title track to whatever name you want (that's what I do as well)

True, sorry about that. It's a copy/paste job with little or no quality control..

Well you did say 'my' for the submission in the entry so your turn to be confusing.
For collaborations it should be all KVR names as artist name, for example Xyz + Qwy - Song Name. I will make that more clear in the rules.

Problem is, my friend isn't on KVR... So we came up with a group name insteadV'ger wrote: For collaborations it should be all KVR names as artist name, for example Xyz + Qwy - Song Name. I will make that more clear in the rules.

No problem but this does raise the question if collaborators really need to be KVR members? I would say probably not as long as one is and can announce it here.

I just clarified the rules to include this. I wont announce it as a new rule as everything is still the same per se:
Collaborations are allowed. The collaborator(s) do not need to be a KVR member.
File name format: Artist - Tune Title where artist name is the same as KVR nick. For collaborations, just put both names as artist name, for example Artist1 + Artist2 - Tune Title. If the collaborator is not a KVR member, put the KVR member's name first, like this KVR Name + Collaborator name - Tune Title.

Hi V'ger and all, so... let's suppose the next month I can collaborate with a top/world level sound designer and/or composer then is it ok?V'ger wrote:Collaborations are allowed. The collaborator(s) do not need to be a KVR member.
Imho this way, if I understood correctly, the merit of the KVR participant can really be meaningless.
Just my 0.002 cents...

There's nothing to stop you having him register an account at KVR now if the rule was all had to have one, so what would be the difference?nitrowheels71 wrote:Hi V'ger and all, so... let's suppose the next month I can collaborate with a top/world level sound designer and/or composer then is it ok?V'ger wrote:Collaborations are allowed.
