I want to use ZebraHZ to load all of the Zebra2 presets.
I copied the Zebra2 presets into the HZ directory but I am wondering if any of the other Zebra2 folders need to be copied (\modules) to the HZ?

Should be fine, all patches are self-contained with all necessary data saved in the file.

If you're on a Mac and you want the Zebra2 presets to show up in ZebraHZ preset browser when you open it up, you can just create a symlink to the Zebra2 preset folder in the ZebraHZ preset folder. The presets will show up under "Zebra2"
Copy this and drop it into Terminal and hit return:
The advantage of doing this is your Zebra2 presets are always up to date in ZebraHZ.

Code: Select all
ln -s /Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/Zebra2 /Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/ZebraHZ/Zebra2- KVRAF

AFAIK the regular Zebra2 presets should appear in ZebraHZ, no hacks required (but thanks anyway, Bill!). We'll check this next week...

I'm on Win8-64 and all the 3rd party presets show in HZ but not the Zebra2...Howard wrote:AFAIK the regular Zebra2 presets should appear in ZebraHZ, no hacks required...
Once I copied the Z2 presets into HZ presets folder, they show up.
I was concerned because there are other folders in Z2 that contain files, but those same folders are empty in HZ (\Modules).

The only way I get Zebra2 presets to show up (Zebra2 folder in image below) is using my "hack". Otherwise all I see are "Local" and "User" folders.Howard wrote:AFAIK the regular Zebra2 presets should appear in ZebraHZ, no hacks required (but thanks anyway, Bill!). We'll check this next week...

You should be able to do the same in Windoze by creating an alias to the Zebra2 presets folder in the ZebraHZ presets folder

yes, thanks for the suggestion...I had to create shortcut links to Zebra2 and my 3rd party presets...however, unlike yours, I do not have a User folder, so my "non-HZ" presets are intermingled within the HZ headings (alphabetically)...
I ended up creating a "User" folder within the HZ headings and moved the shortcuts into it...sure helped clean it up.

My setup / directory structure is a little different than what you see, Bill. In MacHD/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/ ... my Zebra2 folder sits next to (not inside) the ZebraHZ folder. Am not sure how your Zebra2 folder ended up below ZebraHZ... but you might want to try moving it up under the u-he folder. IIRC, things installed this way from the beginning..
