@SL32
The app Looks presets are under the App/Library/LooksPresets/App
@Mutools
I honestly find nothing wrong with the knobs currently in Mulab

@dakkra
Thanks dakkra I know the factory presets are there, but the User presets should be saved to the User folder, shouldn't they? Which is exactly where the File Manager takes you when you attempt to save your own presets.
My problem is that I have two presets saved from the last version of MuLab, v5.1.3, but now I can't load those presets because the User folder isn't showing up in the File Manager.
Follow these instructions just to be clear:
1. Open MuLab/Edit The Looks.
2. The colour settings appear, now click the Presets button and then the Load Preset option.
3. A File Manager window appears called - Choose The Looks. Collapse ALL folders and you'll see Dark and Light. In the last version of MuLab there was another folder below Light called User which contained the Presets I had saved. It no longer appears, why?
Has the location for User Presets changed? Is it a bug?
@ Mutools
Knobs are fine Jo, but please can you look at the User Looks Presets at some point please, thanks.
EDIT: Never mind, just found out you changed the location by adding the APP folder. Think you should've stated that in the changelog!

That's where I have my preset save and Mulab can find it. Under User/Library/LooksPresets/App . The presets for the devices will be saved under User/Library/LooksPresets/(Device name). It works fine for me at least. I did have to reorganize the folders because they would save in the last folder opened. But now that they're organized Mulab reads them fine.

Yeah I get it now, but previously the App folder didn't exist and the browser showed the presets. Anyway, thanks for your help

Maybe a difficult question but can you guys select together your common favorite knob from all the free available onces. Please take into account that the knob currently is max 32 x 32 pixels, not more.
Curious for your favorite one.

I like the first one from left at bottom row for example. Fourth one is not bad either.
These are from here: http://www.radorec.com/-skins/20-free-vst-knobs
They are obviously knobman files. You can open them, change them (colour) and render them in g200kg's knobman application.
No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

I like the fifth one in the last row!

Fixed in the next version. Thanks for reporting!dakkra wrote:When saving looks presets for the devices Mulab generates folders for the device under the folder for the device first used. Isn't that confusing? Basically after generating a folder for a device like MuSynth and saving a preset, the next device, such as MuDrum, gets saved under /MuSynth/MuDrum instead of /Mudrum under the looks folder.

Mono mode is on the wishlist and will be implemented in the near future.AndreasD wrote:No Mono Mode yet.

I assume this is about the same issue as Dakkra reported. Should be fixed in the next version.sl23 wrote:Why aren't the User LooksPresets working? I have saved two, which are still located in the User folder, but they don't appear in the LoadPresets list. I even tried saving another but it doesn't appear either.
Have they changed somehow?

A lot of those synth lead presets will make much more sense then.

Hi Jo, no it was a different issue. You had added the App folder to the User Looks Presets Library, as the presets were previously saved at:mutools wrote:I assume this is about the same issue as Dakkra reported. User\Library\LooksPresets\
MuLab couldn't load previously saved presets as it was looking here:
User\Library\LooksPresets\App\
But there was no reason for me to believe anything had changed. It wasn't stated in the changelog that you'd changed the location for loading presets.
No problem though, all sorted now I know the location has changed. Dakkra's problem is something different.
Thanks

There is a new MuLab 5.2.7 application patch available in www.mutools.com/mulab/everest/
How to install: http://www.mutools.com/mulab/app-patch/Read%20Me.txt
Note that the minimum previous version for this app patch is M5.2.6.
What's changed in M5.2.7:
* Fixed an issue wrt sub-foldering when saving MUX device looks presets.
* Dropping a multi-channel MuClip on a new track properly sets the new track's MIDI channel to "Per Part".
* "Insert User Key" dialog uses a more wide input field and also shows an already inserted key.

Thanks for the fix. But, I have another problem...
I've created some Mux's and can't rename the Group Frames! I used to be able to double click the title and then a rename box appeared. Now, nothing happens!!!
