at playback MuLab CPU Meter shows about 70% and Task Manager about 45% for all tasks

why is MuLab 5.2.8 CPU Meter value higher than CPU usage for all tasks?

Maybe MuLab doesn't use all cores all the time? I thought that the GUI calculations where put in a different proces on a different core perhaps from the rest.

Your processor obviously has just 2 cores.

I'm not sure though. Perhaps others can chime in with more accurate information.

Solution:
after open Audio Setup and change "Num Audio Processor Threads" from Auto(1) to 2 (more is better), MuLab CPU Meter shows now about 30% - during playback :D
