Hi!
I am trying out MAutoDynamicEQ and i'm wondering about sound difference between the two.
I already own MDynamicEQ.
I load up some tracks in my DAW and set both plugins 4 bands with the same EQ values.
To my suprise MAutoDynamicEQ sounds better with exactly the same settings!
Now i see that the Smoothing parameter in MADEQ adds some flavor but still even without that, MADEQ sounds smoother than MDEQ.
My question is, what are the differences that cause this?? I don't understand how one can sound different from the other with the same settings. Is the EQ algorithm in MDEQ not so good then?
Thanks!
Comparing MDynamicEQ - MAutoDynamicEQ. Different sound with same EQ settings??

Hi,
not really, the plugins sound exactly the same, the difference is in the features only. Can you send me some examples? Ideally a project, that demonstrates both plugins? I believe it is only a psychological thing

I tried a few EQ band settings here, with the 2 EQs on different tracks, and inverted one track.
The results almost nulled each other - there was some residual sound at -69dB or so (but I could not hear it).
zeep, can you post a pic (or presets?) for the 2 EQs so we can try them out?

Quicky FR: While checking this out, I found myself double-clicking the parameter values, hoping to open the value editor, so that I could enter precise values. I know that Shift+click opens the value editor, could double-click open it too?
