Smoother?
Heck I'm on my big rig and loading times are aweful. I don't want to know how this will be for portable devices due to all the nonsense that is loaded in the background.
This was adressed several times by now, and KVR is still slow.
Oh and btw... Double-clicking a text-part results in a yellow marking. My eyes definitely like this - not.

Help me out here
(a) where is the "Latest Posts" choice now?
(b) the "More" drop-down menu pops up UNDER the "products @ KVR" drop-down.

So why does it have to be so cluttered? I'm not trying to be Indiana Jones while browsing a music forum, thanks!

Anyone else remember when they switched the recent posts on the right to this back and green? I'm having flashbacks of that!

If we could get some different theme color choices that would be super!
The blue in the header and the light greyish color don't mix with the black gradient or the forum theme colors. They might if there was less blue and more grey and a bit darker though..
PLEASE DON'T CHANGE THE ACTUAL FORUM THEME COLORS -- they are wonderful as they have been for years.
I like extra features.. but wish I could disable them too. I never really got used to the news and deals stuffed into the same area. It really makes the page longer and more confusing (cluttered looking). While I can see it could be useful to some, it is a tad bit too much for me.
Disabling this in our user profiles would be super too!!

3 or 4 shades of blue, a few different shades of grey, a bright green, a bright red, green text, white text. All staring at me when i come to kvr! Looks very messy and uneasy on the eye to me.

Looks pretty unfinished to me somehow.
The blue in the back is nice, but mixed with everything else it looks extremely busy in a not so good way.
I especially miss the feeling of a clear structure, of a guiding idea.
Just giving each item a different colour doesn't do that.
As it is now, it feels worse than before, so I hope it will improve over time!
Cheers,
Tom

Remember when Microsoft got rid of menus and replaced them with the ribbon? And remember when people complained about how they couldn't find anything anymore Microsoft stuck their fingers in their ears and said "la la la I can't hear you!" and kept doing that for the next 7+ years? This isn't really like that, but it's triggering that trauma for me nonetheless.

I think it mostly works in terms of colours except the grey gradient at the top - change that to the dark blue/black (no gradient) that is at the top of each forum topic (and surrounds the subject field) and it will balance better and the white text will stand out better too.

The Tories are taking over, conservative blue everywhere, David Cameron would love it.

Who ever thought that yellow would be a good highlighting colour for white text boxes...
