Nice one, thanks Jo ;-)

As I have transparent 'Module Buttons' on the Title Bar, they look odd now as they're in normal text as opposed to the new Bold text for the Title. Would it be too much to give a choice for both or one to be Bold or not?

I do like the Bold look for Titles but the Buttons would look better the same when used in this situation.

Actually, it may be a good idea to sort out the text alignment somehow. For example here's one layout I have for a Group Frame Title:
Title Button Button Button Button Title

But although the Buttons are easily positioned within the text for the Title, getting the Title text to sit exactly right is very awkward. The Title is basically like this with Buttons positioned to fill the gap:
Title [---------Spaces---------] Title

You have to mess about trial and error putting spaces before, between and after each Title to get it to sit right.

Is there anything you can do to make it easier to arrange and position text? Perhaps make Title Boxes? Where they can be positioned just like a Button? Or a choice of Left and Right align but allow more than One Title per Group Frame? idk, maybe I'm being too picky

So I just set up a test folder for 5.2.8 and listened to one preset. It sounds better and the UI for MuSynth is awesome. Now I have to listen to all the presets again .......... wow, yup if this is a sign of things to come, I am in head first. I love the progress that Mutools has been through. Great work guys.
What is the structural integrity of a compound when it is broken down to its wave form?

The same as everything else that surrounds it.

Er, what's with the gigantic synth interface? On the OSX version the MuSynth interface literally went off the side of my 24" monitor? Is that adjustable...

Post

You must have a very low resolution for such a large monitor. On my Windows 7 box, the MuSynth window is 868 x 713 pixels. If I remember correctly, Jo has said the minimum supported display resolution is 1024 x 768 and MuSynth is well within that here. Can you check what size it's appearing there?

(Edit to add... I really wish I had time to explore MuSynth... it looks utterly amazing...)

Post

1920 x 1200 here... and the MuSynth extends the entire width of my monitor (and the MuLab arrange)... I'm not sure why I would need the interface that big as the old one was fine with me?

Post

If it's not rendering the same on OSX as on Windows, that sounds very strange. One for Jo after his holiday.

It looks ok here. I'm on 1920x1080
iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2009), 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 8 GB RAM, OSX 10.12.6

Just a thought, when you installed 5.2.x, did you copy any existing 5.x Loox over? If so, try re-installing 5.2.x and DO NOT install any additional Loox settings, either factory or user.

Post

The OSX version from cedar is just a app icon... not the whole folder. Not sure why, but that may be the problem.

It's BIG...
