Are you interested in a vintage Rickenbacker guitar strap? LOLschnapsglas wrote:No! No Bazille until fall? What will I do with my $150??

I've been enjoying the free version of Bazille and cannot wait until the actual release. It sounds fantastic and is great fun to use. In the meantime, can someone explain the advanced sequencer functions? I understand sequencing different values thru the fader positions to create modulation for any destination, adjusting clock speed, etc... that is easy and makes sense, but I am having trouble understanding the round dial controls to the left of the faders, specifically the function of the small dial that can be set to any position around the circle. I know it can be modulated by any source, but can't seem to wrap my mind around the overall function.
Thanks.
Thanks.

It's a 8-step table of the 16-step sequences. Cabling to that socket to the left (scaled by the knob below), is using the input signal value numerically indexed to the 8 steps. In-between values interpolate between the two tables, just fades from table A to B.
I'd say try with very small signal values to see how two frames fade in/out, as well as very slowly changing LFOs (if for nothing other than the entertainment value of watching things spin around

Would it be an idea to be able to mute the oscillators independently? I find it difficult to know what each osc is doing.

Might indeed be a good idea... I've added that into our growing list of feature requests.frankvg wrote:Would it be an idea to be able to mute the oscillators independently? I find it difficult to know what each osc is doing.

I just watched the demonstration video on your site and I am very intrigued. Since I am basically an experimental music producer, I think I will see if I can make a great track out of it by the end of the year. Can I try to create presets to save and share here?

Sure, U-He has a great patch-sharing page at
http://www.u-he.com/PatchLib/
Scroll down to the Bazille link.
I'm not sure who's in charge of posting new patches to the page anymore...but you can contact U-He from their website.

Had to delete. Apparently there is a bug that crashes my DAW when closing the window. I had vers .5 so probably old news. Definitely some great possibilities with the wave choices and different enough from ACE to warrant purchase when the bugs are squashed.

Version 0.5 was expired and should no longer work... version 0.6 has never shown even the slightest instability or problem for me and I use it all the time.

Wow - that is a beast of a synthesizer. And thank's that the 0.6 was still available for download. I feel, it has to become my third synth from u-he
To create patches is so easy and fast with the excellent GUI. It's fun like in the old days ... straight forward and transperent what you are doing (patching). This synth calls for a hardware-controller replicating the GUI ... well I am a little dreaming ...
may I?
But there is one thing I would like to suggest or ask to consider seriously. Since Bazille shows room for expansions I would wish to see a kind of "resonator" as we have it in the ZebraHZ. This module was the most important feature for me to upgrade from Zebra to ZebraHZ. It delivers the final signature to any sound and seems to fit snugly to the Bazille too.
May be I missed it, but is there something like one or more signal mixers? I tried to get a noise as a sound source modulated by an ADSR and wanted not to use one of the two VCA (had been used for stereo effect already)?

Yes, use the multiples.SoundRaider wrote:May be I missed it, but is there something like one or more signal mixers? I tried to get a noise as a sound source modulated by an ADSR and wanted not to use one of the two VCA (had been used for stereo effect already)?

Thank you for your quick response. Yep, that got me to an other post from Urs ... explaining how the RM can be used to VCA control the inputs. Good to know, how flexible those little four modules areHoward wrote:Yes, use the multiples.SoundRaider wrote:May be I missed it, but is there something like one or more signal mixers?
