See if you have a key named:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VST\VSTPluginsPath

I think most installers read the value from there, and I think that's the only purpose of it. I always manually set mine to 'C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins', which is where my plugins live.

You said it was stated by Tone2. It was obviously not true so why say it?

And now you say it doesn't scan C:\ after it's just been shown that it does indeed scan there?

I know brand loyalty is a force, but taking leave of reason like this is frankly embarrassing..

Now there's reports of Tone2 tampering with files from other manufacturers as well.

Why can't truth prevail? Why do people feel that protecting their favorite music plugin software manufacturer is more important than truth and open discussion? I just don't get it.

Perhaps he will give you a reduced sentence. 99 years of hard labor at Tone2 Prison seems a bit much given your previous good deeds.
