I know there were a multitude of other points but one that stuck out was something being "hard to justify" and I have to apologize if this sounds curt but I find something that is easy for me to use (and no, there isn't any special end run around the CS system just because I work here) easily justified since I have no issues running it, and I've been using IK plugins for years before I worked here so I do have the frame of reference. That doesn't mean I don't understand or can't see the view from where you're standing. I can see that you also know that from the tone of your reply and I appreciate that. Most other points in that reply were items that you know I've relayed internally here too (and Burillo can read the thread and other posts of mine to know that all of those suggestions have been relayed and everything is considered), so I won't give anybody another reason to type TL;DR :)

Oh, except this point:
I notice you have had very little to say in this thread in defense of the custom shop purchases being non-transferable.
That's the policy, I'm not a lawyer nor did I write the policy, this is a matter you'd want to take up directly via the multiple methods of contact available on our web site. I believe that it is similar to the Apple App Store model, but again I'm not the author or have the requisite legal background to guide you very well here, I'm afraid. Music and plugins? Sure, that sounds like more my cup of tea. EULAs? Only what I know is written IN them but I'm not able to enter into a long dissection or debate about them unfortunately.

Without having read the whole Thread, can someone just tell me what this nice Comp/Limiter ist emulating exactly? Neve?

Neve 33609.

Not to bring back the Custom Shop discussion, but it doesn't seem like I've stated enough that we are seriously considering some and definitely planning other changes to Custom Shop. I can't guarantee anything right now, so if you aren't into how it works now, by all means do not purchase based on hopes from what I'm saying. However, I did want to make sure it was known since I've seen evidence that it hasn't been clearly communicated that everything isn't set in stone here :)

Ok Peter thanks for your replies.

I have stated my reasons why I was too frustrated to get to demo the new comp so won't go on about it further. It's a shame because I've been after a non UAD 33609 for a while. C'est la vie.

I will see if any changes to CS pan out regarding the points I made but at the moment, the only thing that will make me jump through all those hoops is when I am forced to next do a full system reinstall.

Or,

If you guys make an API2500 Compressor emu ;)

Cheers

Scorb
I once thought I had mono for an entire year. It turned out I was just really bored...

What about the mix button?
Doable in the future?
Everything suggested is passed on to at very least the Product Manager, typically bounced off others too.
Love you  no homo. Thanks.

dont believe him. he promised much in the past i can confirm while nothing, really nothing happend.

all he have to do here is to tell the people say have to stay calm, they are working on it, they listen bla bla bla..

i did the mistake and believed him, i even pronounced it here in public just to see finally that all promises were completely bullsh**.

only thing they worked in the past was new gear for cs, the issue with offline daw is nearly a year old - nothing changed, and nothing will changed.

dont say you haven't been warned. :D
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

He didn't promise anything. Just stated that the points have been relayed to the right people. Its something we do regularly. Thanks for your suggestions though, we do take them into consideration, much like this compressor. We saw requests for them on different forums and our own so we HAVE been working on giving you guys more of what you want. We look forward to improving our software and the Custom Shop with each update.

I do not agree with a single word of that.

You "did the mistake" alright by doing what any typical baiting troll does best: Attack a fellow's character by calling them a liar. It's pathetic

What "promises" exactly?

I've never read anything which Peter has stated with 100% confirmation that hasn't been delivered feature wise or function wise

That has never changed and never will "changed"

It is fair enough to lay in with genuine concerns and actual questions but just calling out somebody whom is a straight up dude as a liar is just bang out of order

For what opinion is worth.

This place is getting too hostile, [Mod edit 1: Some stuff deleted. You know better than that.] As a member for so long you should set a better example. [Mod edit 2: As should you. Please.]

f**k this place

Fuckety bye

This is real good ! Sounds like each new T-RackS processor is being better.

Modeling has come a long way.

So next, I add my votes to :
- Manley Massive Passive and Manley Vari-Mu (maybe a kind of "PURPLE COLLECTION" bundle with those 2)
- API 2500
- API 550B
- Neve 1073
- Neve 1081
- Thermionic Culture Vulture mastering PLUS
- Chandler Limited TG12412 and TG12414
- tape machines

That would be all I need.

RS124 if Abbey Road permits...
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Off topic, but would love to see a T-Racks convolution reverb please. :) One as good as Altiverb, but much more affordable for non-professionals, and also PC friendly. Also a whole bunch of IRs. You could get your US American, Italian, British and Japanese people out taking clicks in some great spaces. Please please please

Also a T-Racks answer to speaker phone would also be awesome...
