Lol - literally seconds after I posted that I saw an add for HOFA IQ. I think it's a sign. Either that or cookies are profiling me...maxxxter wrote:Why? There's Reverberate, the new HOFA one, SIR, Waves offerings, NI offerings ... waaay to many considering the actual market demand.Lode_Runner wrote:Off topic, but would love to see a T-Racks convolution reverb please.ObiK wrote: much like this compressor. We saw requests for them on different forums and our own so we HAVE been working on giving you guys more of what you want. We look forward to improving our software and the Custom Shop with each update. One as good as Altiverb, but much more affordable for non-professionals, and also PC friendly. Also a whole bunch of IRs. You could get your US American, Italian, British and Japanese people out taking clicks in some great spaces. Please please please
Also a T-Racks answer to speaker phone would also be awesome...
I have NI's Reflektor. It's okay, but not near Altiverb + Speakerphone quality.
Waves and East West's offerings look good, but once again not quite Altiverb to me. Haven't seen Reverberate or SIR, so will need to look at these. Thanks for letting me know.

Its not, or its library isnt?Lode_Runner wrote:I have NI's Reflektor. It's okay, but not near Altiverb + Speakerphone quality.
An idiot on Set Theory:

I guess for my purposes, its library more than anything, as I probably wouldn't ever have a use for surround sound features etc... and the library is probably 90% of the reason for the difference in price. I guess I should try to find some good yet cheap IR's for Reflektor before I dismiss it.whyterabbyt wrote:Its not, or its library isnt?Lode_Runner wrote:I have NI's Reflektor. Carry on IK - sorry for the derail.

I bring it up every now and then, but the VST plugin world badly needs an accurate Distressor model.K-Slash wrote:This is real good ! Sounds like each new T-RackS processor is being better.
Modeling has come a long way.
So next, I add my votes to :
- Manley Massive Passive and Manley Vari-Mu (maybe a kind of "PURPLE COLLECTION" bundle with those 2)
- API 2500
- API 550B
- Neve 1073
- Neve 1081
- Thermionic Culture Vulture mastering PLUS
- Chandler Limited TG12412 and TG12414
- tape machines
That would be all I need.

+1 (as just me, not Peter - IK, since I have no idea at this point if this would happen but I'd be overjoyed personally if it did).Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: I bring it up every now and then, but the VST plugin world badly needs an accurate Distressor model.

this is one of the few threads here @ KVR from 02. March 2013 (yes, yes nearly a half year ago)..Dean Aka Nekro wrote:I do not agree with a single word of that.murnau wrote:dont believe him. he promised much in the past i can confirm while nothing, really nothing happend.
all he have to do here is to tell the people say have to stay calm, they are working on it, they listen bla bla bla..
i did the mistake and believed him, i even pronounced it here in public just to see finally that all promises were completely bullsh**.
only thing they worked in the past was new gear for cs, the issue with offline daw is nearly a year old - nothing changed, and nothing will changed.
dont say you haven't been warned.
You "did the mistake" alright by doing what any typical baiting troll does best: Attack a fellow's character by calling them a liar. It's pathetic
What "promises" exactly?
I've never read anything which Peter has stated with 100% confirmation that hasn't been delivered feature wise or function wise
That has never changed and never will "changed"
It is fair enough to lay in with genuine concerns and actual questions but just calling out somebody whom is a straight up dude as a liar is just bang out of order
For what opinion is worth.
This place is getting too hostile, [Mod edit 1: Some stuff deleted. You know better than that.] As a member for so long you should set a better example. [Mod edit 2: As should you. Please.]
f**k this place
Fuckety bye

But... I can report that offline Restore will likely be in the next update, which will be coming shortly (though definitely not before NAMM.)

hi,
any news regarding the promised update after NAMM?
i'm still waiting to install the single .dll's of mine T-racks CS 4.0 to my offline daw.
thanx

We have updates being tested (fixes and new gear, separately) and will release them as soon as possible. If you have a support ticket you can give that a bump to get more specific information about your issue's resolution and timeframe as they would have a more direct line to testing and development progress. Thanks.

Nobody left, but you do show clearly that no promises were made. I think you can move on now. You're getting rid of your IK products so why do you care? I do feel for you that things didn't get implemented that people thought would get implemented but clearly no promises were made.
Please do note the word "likely" was used by Brian and unfortunately it didn't work out for your specific issue's fix, and I just said "fixes and new gear" and even pointed you to the right people to get more specific information.
By assuming you've embarrassed me, I apologize that it seems you've only embarrassed yourself. Do you really feel it necessary to dig this hole deeper for yourself instead of accepting that you are "quitting IK" anyway and would be much less stressful an endeavor if you didn't try to keep hurling false claims at us?
Edit - and any further inquiries you have about your issue should (still) be handled directly as I will no longer bother trying to reason with you here. It doesn't seem to work and support are the ones best equipped to handle your requests and complaints.

this..
murnau: "any news regarding the promised update after NAMM? i'm still waiting to install the single .dll's of mine T-racks CS 4.0 to my offline daw."
..and the answer was this:
Peter: "We have updates being tested fixes and new gear, separately and will release them as soon as possible."
turn to this a half year later:
Peter:"..but you do show clearly that no promises were made."
not that i'm surprised anymore, even with your latest statement but let me finally say:
if i needed one last impulse to really break up with your company as a customer you delivered now. thank you for that!

This is getting silly. Every update has fixes and improvements and I really don't think you truly understand what the word "promise" really means. I think we just have a language gap or something. Again, support will make it clear for you if you don't understand these examples from the recent T-RackS releases:
and
finally:

and- Three New processors:
- Bus Compressor
- White Channel
- Tape Echo
- Redesigned British Channel user interface
- Improved compatibility with 32-bit only Macs
- Several bug fixes
- General reliability improvements
These seem appropriate to the very odd thematic turns we're taking here:- New Precision Compressor / Limiter module
- Support for 32 and 64 bit AAX plug-in format
- Improved modules category menus
- General reliability improvements
and
finally:
