Zebrify LFO not syncing in Ableton Live 9?

Hi,

In Ableton Live 9 I have a pattern playing a sustained note for 1 bar, which loops. Then I have placed a Zebrify on it, with a square LFO mapped to the filter cutoff, to give it an off-beat pulse. Cheesy I know, but this setup was actually meant to test something unrelated. Anyway, I wanted it to sound the same each time so I set the LFO to gate. My understanding is then that it would trigger the same each time. Unfortunately it was seemingly starting from a different phase on each stop/start. I also tried doing this with an MSEG set to Mono or Single with the same result.

I tried the same setup in REAPER and it worked. It re-triggered at the same point each time.

Is this a problem with Ableton Live? The thing is, I also did this effect with Volcano and that worked in Live, so I don't know that the issue is entirely with Ableton.

Oh I suppose I should mention some specs. Ableton Live 9.05 64-bit, Zebra 2.6 (Rev1559) (I guess Zebrify is the same rev? I don't see a #), Windows 8 64-bit, ... etc

Edit: Zebra seems fine, it seems it is just Zebrify that is not doing what I expect.
