Maschine Template / CC Controller assiognment help please

Anyone come up with one yet. I keep running into problems assigning controls in midi learn mdoe and for some reason cc20 duplicate the movement of knobs 3 and 6 even though knobs 3 is assigned exclusively to the cc20 Machine Controller knob, tried midi unlearn and learn. Everytime the same.
Alternatively is there a list of the midi controller numbers for SM. Checked the manual and cant see any reference pages (quickstart guide only).

I have just tried setting the Maschine to a new template so all controller cc on the Maschine are deaulted.

Rotary knobs 1-8 are assigned to cc14-21 in a basic synthmaster named template - so nothing tweaked.
Load up Synthmaster from scratch no patch loaded.
In browser mode the 8 controll at the bottom have all been unlearned so no cc assigned.
Learn each knob in turn.
Easy Knob 1 to Maschine rotary 1 = cc14 fine
Easy Knob 2 to Maschine rotary 2 = cc15 fine
Easy Knob 3 to Maschine rotary 3 = cc16 Assigns but also moves the now pre-assigned knob 1...and so, frustrated!

Ok think Ive sorted it. Turned out the controller assignment was clashing with the auto easy assignment within Cubase 7.0.5.
