Forgive me if I'm being thick here but is there a filter in Eve that can be controlled directly e.g. via Midi controller
My brief forays left me with the impression that the filter(s) have to be controlled by modulators like velocity etc.

the 3 EQ sections got filters which can be MIDI controlled, though they are not resonant filters,
the LP filter is resonant, and resonance amount can be MIDI controlled, the Cutoff is linked to the ADSR envelope, so you can MIDI control it only indirectly
by linking the ADSR faders to MIDI CCs
hope this helps

thanks luigi
Is there a reason for not having a directly controllable resonant filter (cutoff) ?

the reason is that EVE was not designed to be another VA synth, even though it's similar, <grin>
the LP filter has been added later
to enhance piano emulation mostly,
anyway it can resonate pretty well,
I may add an Env Depth control in some next update,
