Hi guys. I've heard that I can't sell my license of the Dark Zebra without selling the Zebra 2.5 license along with it. However, because I do want to continue to use Zebra 2.5, but NOT Dark Zebra, is there another way to accomplish this? Can I purchase another license of Zebra 2.5 secondhand in the marketplace and just sell the old 2.5 license with Dark Zebra? Or is this still seen as circumventing the policy? Thanks.

Are you aware that Z3 will be free if you keep the Dark Zebra? Considering the usual second hand prices around here, that might actually be an option?

Where did you get that from

As for the OP, we consider TDZ a soundset. We indeed don't transfer those without the actual Zebra license I'm afraid

I thought i read it in an old 'ttoz vs uhe' thread.... ?

It is true you can't resell uhe software the first few months after you buy it, right?

Ah... maybe that was it...

First 6 months, yeah. I mean, you can, but you pay additional fee per month left to those 6 months.

There's often people who sell our stuff, then buy it back a few weeks later.

Can't imagine ever selling my U-he synths anyway

It's 9 months, but I might lower that.

It's only there to prevent "traveling licenses", but with a higher update rate there's less need to stretch out the resell time to prevent abuse.
