What isn't KVR?

There are many things that KVR isn't but in particular the following aren't welcome:

KVR isn't a place for obtaining or discussing warez, cracks, porn, politics, etc.
Come on dude. Let it go.
Why? Kriminal is right and this isn't funny. if you find it funny to write such sentence like "I'd still rather have b++++++++++y or k++++++++++n on my PC than that." you must be ill.
I'm not speaking to the previous posts about porn etc. If you read the OT article linked here you'll see Kriminal has already spoken out against discussing this issue (the piracy of the plugin). It just seems a little overboard to go about trying to police the topic.

My point is, everyone should just relax and not get so worked up over these things.

i dont think so, but anyway Mushy Mushy deleted his post and so i deleted my answer too.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Post

That's fine. I'm not trying to start anything. It just seems that this conversation (across KVR in general) is not going anywhere useful.

"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

His assistant Jacob Lee purchases for him all the software for his studio computer??

His road team accidentally installed a cracked Sylenth version on his laptop??

Seriously, I don't believe this story... :(

One of his *other* assistants - a member of the road team - was probably too busy unregistering all the installed software from the previous 4 or 5 laptops Steve went through this year to think of asking Jacob. It's hard to get decent staff nowadays, isn't it. :P

If you agree that only the most serious of crimes should be worried about, and you agree that space is infinite (which it well could be), then essentially you have a problem, as there will always be a worse crime happening somewhere else, no matter how long you look. :hihi:

more dramatic, imo, there were a couple of cases already recording a vid using non legit software.
however, not only using this kind of software is going sooner or later to nowhereland but those people easily can afford the software anyway.

either it is a shitty "marketing move" or those people are so dump, clearly not intelligent (i guess it is both).

not going to think further about it despite the bad taste that is speaking for itself.

It isn't about worse and worst and most worst crimes...

If you're in the music biz since 17 years (I read 1996 in his bio) and you can afford to buy 5 to 6 laptops a year, you should also be able to pay some bucks for the legal Sylenth version!

Do you have a hi-res version of that? I can't quite work out if they've all simultaneously pissed themselves or that they're sweating nervously due to the discussion of cracks.
