It's a very tempting deal, but there is a couple of snags which makes me pass on it:satYatunes wrote:Magix Music Maker MX Pro Suite Only $79.99
The 12 GB Indy pack seems to cover the same ground as the 10 Vita solo instruments
The included plugins and especially Revolta2 is great, but there is one major drawback, and that is that as far as I know Magix Music Maker can only Rewire in, meaning you cannot hook it up to another DAW to bring the plugs and sounds into that, only the other way round. So you are kind of stuck with using the plugins in Music Maker, and I dunno how many is ready to make that our go-to DAW?

Yes, that is another thing to consider.Photo_G wrote:I believe that the Magix EULA also limits the use of their loops to non-commercial projects.
Just found the presentation page for the Vita instruments, mouth watering selection, must fight GAS: http://www.magix.com/us/hidden-extras/a ... struments/

It's possible also as email but you must talk to them
I will receive it as email with the serial but with discussions
When you order from the site directly, you will get the normal delivery with shipping

Can anyone who purchased the XLN Addictive keys $30 deal tell me - is it a cut down version of the full price?
The link says reduced from full price but it calls it a 'promo pack'...I almost cant believe its the full version at that price...

Just called MF and the rep confirmed that this is a full package, that includes three pianos, Studio Grand, Modern Upright, and The Mark One.analoguesamples909 wrote:Can anyone who purchased the XLN Addictive keys $30 deal tell me - is it a cut down version of the full price?

This looks like a steal! I've placed an order. Thanks!
A possible downside - it's Musician's Friend, most likely means a shipping involved, even if it's just a DVD case shipped with a sheet of paper in it.
S/H is free over $25, it wouldn't make a huge difference if you live in the continental US.

I went in on this on the "Stupid deal of the day". Got it from Musician's friend and shipping was free. I got the package in the mail about 4 days after ordering (I am in California). I just used the serial number that came with it and downloaded the latest installers online from XLN audio. Yes, this deal includes Studio grand, Modern Upright and Mark One and I am very happy with my purchase. One thing to know: You have to be connected to the internet to authorize and download the sounds. There is no offline procedure for installing/authorizing. No biggie for me as I do plug-in to the internets occasionally (although my DAW remains offline the majority of the time). You do not need to be connected to use the program afterwards, just to install it._emanon_ wrote:Just called MF and the rep confirmed that this is a full package, that includes three pianos, Studio Grand, Modern Upright, and The Mark One.analoguesamples909 wrote:Can anyone who purchased the XLN Addictive keys $30 deal tell me - is it a cut down version of the full price?

what i did not understand are why they are shipping the serial when you needs to register and download it via XLN Audio ? why not sending the serial easy with E-Mail ?

I would assume this is to reduce physical inventory. That's probably why it's a great deal. I bought D16 Drumazon from Guitar Center for $30 and it was a box with a serial #.DrumAddict wrote:what i did not understand are why they are shipping the serial when you needs to register and download it via XLN Audio ? why not sending the serial easy with E-Mail ?

It does come with a cover and disk so you do have something tangible (not that I care, personally). I guess the disk only has the installer on it (not the actual samples), but if you wanted to sell it you would have a box to show off. I don't know what their license transfer policy is so you may not be able to sell it (?). At that price I didn't care to check.DrumAddict wrote:what i did not understand are why they are shipping the serial when you needs to register and download it via XLN Audio ? why not sending the serial easy with E-Mail ?

I wonder how much of the included material in the Magix deal can be used with a non-Magix host?
I would assume Independence is a VST, and the sound archive could be used with any DAW, and I would hope the Vita Solo instruments are also VST, but does anyone who owns this product know for sure?
