If you still have reception up there, keep hiking: you're clearly not far enough... ;)
1.5 and 2.5 year olds don't do that well on big hikes.

Surprisingly good view from this little hill though!

Doubt I will have reception tomorrow out in the western part of the Adirondacks in upstate New York. 3 more will put me at 40 out of 46... Almost done. Then maybe I'll have to try some in the winter if I'm masochistic enough.

I've not got any old projects with either on. Only issue i've had is loading some of Dens presets in 1.6 craching cubase.

Cubase 7.0.5x64 in Windows8x64. RME FF800.

All latest drivers and updates.
New updates have resolved the crashes. Thank you and enjoy the family time :) looks like an amazing place to visit if I ever make state side with the family.

Any nice reverbs in those hills ...hills, hills

New BUILD 130 posted. This should cure the issues of noises when switching presets etc. Let us know.

Post

Build 130 appears to have fixed the crazy volume swells and peaking that were happening in some patches. I'm finding some patches to be rather quiet, I'm not sure if maybe parameter ranges are just a bit different now. Most are fine. Maybe they were just quiet presets, don't know what they were like before (gain is quite low on these ones).

Overall seems stable.

Hey Andrew,

I encountered a significant problem. The Creativity/Intregrity expansions presets are deleted when installing this version.

The folders for each is left intact, but the contents (presets) are removed on each install.

I confirmed this by verifying in Finder (I'm on Mac 10.8.4) that all presets were gone. This shows the same way within Aether's browser.

I then deleted the empty Folders for Creativity/Intregrity and reinstalled (by importing again through Aether - Please note that you cannot reimport the expansion packs without manually deleting each expansion first from Finder). I verified the contents (presets) for each expansion in both Finder and in Aether's Browser.

I then reinstalled the latest beta version, and again I can confirm that all the presets were deleted, leaving only the folders for each expansion.

User presets were left unharmed and intact.

I should add that otherwise, this is rock solid in early testings, but I'll keep trying to break it if possible.

Thanks for the info. Exploring.

Confirmed. This is a weird "permissions" thing. Import Package seems to reset permissions of the files imported and sets some to "no access" for "everyone" other than the current user. Seemingly this includes Admin? The installer should reset permissions so this should not matter, but seemingly it does not in this case. Odd. Exploring more...

if for example after using "import pacakge" you find the folder in /library application support/2C-Audio/product/presets/full/ and "get info" and apply read & write permissions to all enclosed items, then everything is fine when you run the installer.

Weird. Exploring more.

Good catch!

New Aether demo versions are live now on the site. You can get them here:

http://www.2caudio.com/products/aether#_overview

Demos gives 80 hours of use. USAGE TIME. If you use only one hour today and then 30 days go by without any use, you still have 79 hours left to use the demo.

All sample rates all now supported in the demo also.

Whoever checks them out first, please post a quick message, saying "all good in the demo" if that is the case just for an extra check for our information. Thanks!

I'm also adding some more fancy/geeky graphics here if anyone likes to have some insight into tech details:

Thanks for all the fixes. Grabbing now.

Hope you give us a headsup in a blog or something on 2.0. Always interesting to see where you're taking an already outstanding product.
Will mix for fun

I got a quick Q; is there an upgrade from the old 'The Perfect Storm' Bundle to the new one with all these lovely presets.

I can only find updates for individual products.

Also the B2 Preset Expansions hyperlink on this page directs to http://www.2caudio.com/products/aetherexpansions, not http://www.2caudio.com/products/b2expansions
