I've been looking at the Howard Scarr's Zebra 2 tutorials and have noticed that he uses a preset "HS Precinct 14" - it's a 2.3 version - and I can't find it in the Zebra GUI. I've also searched the u-he map in my disk library/audio/presets/u-he and it's not there. I'm not sure if my memory is deceiving me, but I seem to remember playing around with it a while back.

Can someone clarify this for me, as I might have deleted it.

There is "Precinct 14" (no HS prefix) in ZebraHZ (Dark Zebra) in "LowArps + Stomps" category.

Have not found any "Precinct" in Zebra factory sets.

Yep, it's a Dark Zebra one... a hommage to "Assault on Precinct 13" by John Carpenter. Carpenter writes his own music, and it's typically based on catchy synth bass lines and sequences.

The patch was later on used by James Newton Howard on Confessions of a Shopaholic. When my wife watched it on DVD in the lounge room, I was working on something else, and suddenly that bass line appeared. It was flabbergasting. But of course, James worked with Hans Zimmer on The Dark Knight, so he had those patches as well.

So well, I think it's more prominently known for a girly comedy than for a Batman movie :hihi:

Yeah, it's a nice patch... it kind of takes the manliness off it now I know it's used in that movie. Could you actually recognise the patch when the movie was playing or did you hear about it afterwards.

Anyway I'm off to get the dark zebra now, if it's got patches that have been used in Confessions of a Shopaholic I have to get it. :hihi: Just kidding, still getting it though, it looks great.
