Got my tracking info and it says I should receive it by tomorrow so will post when I get it...Photo_G wrote:Yes, sorry...the Oxygen 8 key bed is velocity sensitive, and works really well - but it does not have aftertouch sensors on the key bed. You can manually program both of these with the key combination though, as well as some other parameters.

Going to keep this short and sweet as I need to go out in a few mins... just got it (fast shipping!), came in retail package appears brand new. No driver or mention of one in the docs (english and spanish) but plugged right in with win7 and auto-installed as a midi device. Basically everything seems to work as expected. Didn't give the velocity sensitivity a lot of checking, there but doesn't seem super sensitive. Mapped some knobs... worked okay. Definitely a bit klunky as old controllers were but pretty much as Photo_G speculated... it appears to be relabeled oxygen 8 or similar. Retro man! So that's my experience, yours of course may differ but figured I'd pass it along. I'll be out for a bit but any specific questions let me know.bftucker wrote:I am looking forward to your review...chrisby wrote:

Sorry, no. I'll give it a better run through when I get back home with my desktop (win8) but those two machines (win7 lt / win8 dt) are really all I have to test with...Photo_G wrote:Great feesback! Thanks!! Do you have an iPad with the CCK to check it out with by chance?

New Alesis A25 25-Note USB MIDI Keyboard Controller ($25 + Free shipping)
Does the package also come with some bundled software?

No, it's a retail package but just the unit, a usb cable (old style clear!), and a quick start guide. Apparently it'll run on batteries if you want to use the midi ports and no usb....Numanoid wrote:Coolchrisby wrote:I posted the stuff below in the gossip thread a few days ago... Well this unit appears to be class compliant and you mentioned that the o8 needed special drivers if I read right so that would indicate that the fw is different anyway so maybe...Photo_G wrote:Thanks again! When mine gets here I'll test my iPad4 I'm hoping that the firmware has been updated, if it actually just a re-badged O8.
Take care,

I think he meant to say, "A lot of forum users quit music this weekend hence all the sales". And by "a lot" he probably means 4 or 5.MachineClaw wrote:AhmedTaburov wrote:a lot of guys quit music this weekend...

In other words 4-5 quitting means that there is 0,00002 % less music makers on the forum
I dunno if I would call that a lot...?
If 5 quits each weekend/week on average it will take 1026 years before the forum is empty
