Deleting Presets

Hi i was trying to delete some presets, something that i was having trouble with before because the names would still show up in the browser. I got a tip to delete a file inside the preset folder, i forget exactly what it's called but i had done this process before (it had the name presets in it?). It worked, and in it's place another version of the file i deleted was created. But now i want to narrow down my own presets further and i believe i have followed the same process but the preset names still appear in the browser, and the file i deleted had not reappeared in my presets folder. This is the first time i have tried doing this since the latest update of Synthmaster, is there something i have to do differently now since the update. I have noticed what seems to be another path for presets, but is this just for favorited and template presets? Where did i go wrong?
