It's just how KVR rolls. One minute stimulating technical explorations, the next cats with wigs. I'd explain it better if it made sense.

Pulling, kicking and dragging back on topic. The ability to perceive the machine-gun effect doesn't seem like such a big deal. Our brains are amazing pattern matching machines. Without the extraordinary pattern recognition we would likely not have developed visual art, music or language. We'd still have KVR and tarnce tho. The bacteria would demand it.

i think you have a valid point,there is a lot to say about it.

to make it short,i'm suffering from sample accurate repetition,i can't stand it if a sound is exactly repeated without any,at least minimal changes in the frequency spectrum.

but there is another point too that's often overlooked,imo.
a sound needs also some slightly movement,a rhythm loses a lot of tension,if it is 100% exact repeated,then i can't feel it anymore.

on the other hand,using hardware luckily introduces those "wrong artifacts" automatically that's why i like music made with hardware often better,although it is more limited compared to a computer,imo.

whatsoever,a computer is a tool and you can feed it with knowledge... ..if you can.
