The original Pulse had a distinctive sound - brutal stonking hard bass with a crystal clear zingy top end, fat, yet simultaneously cold and sterile. Quite different to all of the other analogues I've owned.

Be interesting to see whether v2 reproduces the character of the original.

This one is my favorite demo:

So all we need is a time machine because we were all a sleep when it came into stock and sold out right away. Great, missed the boat again as usual!

Around the 0.35 mark, very impressive! So you can play chords with it. Is there any sort of spread/width panning? Looks like it could be could for some super saw trance stuff. Basically exactly what I am looking for. :)

Cool, Just hope that people upload some demos to youtube showing usable sounds and not just clicks & blips. :) And sweeping the filter with reso of course.

Opposing to what some people maybe think the interface of the Pulse 2 is quite straightforward IMO. The programming matrix opposing to the Blofeld includes 6 instead of just 4 knobs and 6 buttons instead of 4.
Opposing to the Blofeld for none of the parameters in the programming matrix additional "menu diving" is necessary.

Exceptions are: Sounds menu which includes pitchbend up/down ranges, the mod matrix (all 8 slots on one page) and advanced features of the Arpeggiator (on a single graphical display).

Not to forget that opposing to the Pulse 1 the Pulse 2 uses endless rotary encoders so changes are usually relative to the original value. This seemed cause some trouble with the Pulse 1 which used standard potentiometers with absolute changes to the values.

Very cool. I actually quite like this sort of interface when it's as straight forward as the Little Phatty and ATC-1. The problem with the original Pulse's interface was that the matrix selector was a push button instead of arrows.
